History of "Lilo"

We purchased the cute puppy of Golden Retriever in the 23th of November, 2013 from "Million friends" pet shop when she was 45 days. Her name is "Lilo". When we give a name to her, at firstly, we thought to call "Stitch" because we love to "Stitch" of Desney movie. But this name is difficult to call her by "Stitch-eeee" :). So decided to give "Lilo" name which is generous one, Lilo was the tiny heroine and the best friend of Stitch in the Disney film Lilo and Stitch.

1. In Hawaiian:
-It means generous one.
-A young Hawaiian girl who is tiny heroine in Disney film Lilo and Stitch.

2. In Germany
-Lilo is a German girl name. The meaning of the name is `Consecrated to God, Manly`.
-Lilo is diminutive (nickname) of Lieselotte.
It's a smushing-together of Elizabeth (Lise) and Charlotte (Lotte). The first person to be known by that name (in her case a nickname) was a 17th-18th century German princess, Elizabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate.
